3rd Balkan Speleological Conference

Dear Colleagues and Friends of caving and speleology,

It is a great honour to invite you to the 3rd Balkan Speleological Conference in Bulgaria . The year 2023 is also the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Balkan Speleological Union.

The Organizing Committee has the great honour to invite you to attend the 3rd Balkan Speleological Conference which will be held from 19th to 22nd October 2023 in Sofia, Bulgaria. This important speleological meeting will be organised by the Bulgarian Caving Society and hosted by the National Museum „Earth and Man”, under the patronage of the Balkan Speleological Union and European Federation of Speleology. The conference will be a wonderful opportunity to gather together all Balkan cavers and speleologists who are interested, involved and experienced in all the aspects of caving and speleological researches.

The conference will be hosted by the National Museum “ Earth and Man“in Sofia. The organizing committee will try to provide not only an exceptional program, but also a good social program that will allow all participants to enjoy their stay in Bulgaria.
