28th International Cave Bear Symposium 2023

In 2023 the 28th International Cave Bear Symposium will take place at the Urwelt-Museum, Bayreuth, Oberfranken in Germany. It is the regional museum for natural history and mineralogy in Upper Franconia. Founded in 1833 as Kreis-Naturalien-Cabinet, reopened in 1998 as Urwelt-Museum Oberfranken. The museum in the pedestrian zone of Bayreuth shows on 3 floors the history of the animate and inanimate nature of Upper Franconia by means of many fossils and minerals.
We can expect exciting excursions into caves in the surrounding area.
