This unique event for cavers took place in the limestone region, near Ferrières, Belgium on September 20-22, 2024. The program has become a classic, with on Saturday visiting the most beautiful caves of the Ardennes. With our Walloon colleagues from the Belgian Union of Speleology (UBS), we organized access to different closed caves. In the evening networking and recreation among cavers took place. On Sunday there were workshops.

The registration opened on June 17, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. 210 participants from 4 different countries joined the Caving Days 2024.

On Friday there were several stands promoting the various working groups of the federation and also an FSE-stand manned by FSE board members.

On Saturday everyone was expected to visit a closed cave (especially open for this occasion) or to go for the prehistoric nature walk in the surroundings. The opening of many caves was again the most difficult to obtain. The list of caves that were opened was again refreshed with new discoveries. In the context of 50 years of the Flemish Caving Federation VVS, various speeches were held and gifts exchanged with the Belgian Caving Association UBS (which celebrated its 40th anniversary) and Speleo Nederland. During the evening the prices for the raffle changed owner. First prize: a Scurion headlight, and further Aventure Verticale sponsorship packs. Prices were also distributed by our local sponsors: from Berghut, Spéléroc and Librairie Spéléo.

On Sunday everyone chose their own route through the program of workshops, stands and projections. There was something for all tastes with films, photos, and presentations. The program provided presentations in 3 different languages, even on areas that are sometimes not well known, such as canyoning or cave diving.
